We have all heard that it takes money to make money. Well guess what, it's true. The only thing that everone has left out is that it takes very little to make a lot. Take stillbloggin for example.

     I started stillbloggin with 15 dollars. I took my initial small amount of money and bought a hosting account through a friend. I actually could have spent less with godaddy, but ultimately choose to help a friend and in turn he has actually helped me out more. I will go in to details later. 

    After opening my hosting account, I needed to purchase my domain name. Stillbloggin was the obivous choice for me. It helps if the domain name you choose is relative to the "niche" or "topic" of your site. For me I wanted to have my niche be about what I love, and I love researching. So stillbloggin is a site about me researching the subject of profiting from the internet.

      With my buddy selling me my server space, he also included a simple interface called CPanel. In this very simple, kind of windows based site, I could install different software on my site to create the look I wanted. I choose to use Mambo CMS. Mambo is a medium skilled site based program that allows you to easily change the way your site looks and feels. It's kind of like Microsoft Frontpage for dummies. I have used both Frontpage and Mambo, and I find Mambo way easier.

    Once the site was up and running, I had to implement my income producers. In stillbloggins case it was Google's AdSense Affiliate program. AdSense is a very basic program. You get paid for everyone that clicks on your ads that are relevant to the information on your site. So far, so good. It has worked for me. 

     In closing, I would like to say never stick with one source of income. Multiply it. I have started a website called hebuiltmywebsite.com , that offers hosting and website builds at a low price. I have also started using any money I earn to purchase domain names that I will be using for cash parking. Cash parking is basically, using your domain name to earn money from a parking sites advertisements. I will talk about cash parking in another entry.
